OpenTeam SEO

OpenTeam SEO is a general-purpose research tool that crawls a user-specified website, collects current search evidence, studies competing pages, and produces an evidence-backed SEO report. Public video discovery is one supporting data source.

API use

How video discovery works

01

User-requested discovery

A user names a website, product, service, topic, and market. OpenTeam SEO searches for current public videos relevant to that request.

02

Evidence for SEO reports

Public video titles, channel names, links, thumbnails, and descriptions support video-content opportunities in the requested report.

03

Source-aware reporting

YouTube results are attributed to YouTube and kept separate from rendered Google Search video modules and rankings.

Data boundaries

Public discovery only

  • No YouTube OAuth sign-in and no access to private account or channel data.
  • No upload, edit, comment, rating, subscription, playlist, or deletion actions.
  • No sale of YouTube API data, advertising profiles, or generalized model training.
  • No persistent YouTube index; temporary API response data is deleted or refreshed within 30 days.

User control and policies

Users can request deletion of YouTube-derived report data by emailing [email protected]. Deleting stored data from OpenTeam does not delete content hosted by YouTube.
